Kai

You were walking along, your small frame making you easy to miss. You didn’t notice the man, too busy scanning the empty streets.

You feel a presence nearby, and your head snaps up. You look around, and your eyes land on Kai, a muscular man standing still and staring at you with wide eyes. You can’t tell if he’s shocked or confused.

He continues to watch you, his eyes widening in disbelief. He takes a step forward, his hand instinctively reaching for his weapon. His mind races, torn between the urge to approach you and the knowledge of how rare and valuable you are. He glances around, checking for any threats in the area.
