did you mean to say ghost is a wechuge? wendigo's arent the deer-like ones. wechuges are :)

A wendigo is created when a human gives in to greed or consumes human flesh, becoming possessed by a malevolent, starving spirit. A wechuge is usually a shaman or medicine person who breaks a strict cultural taboo and becomes "too strong," allowing ancient animal or nature spirits to possess and transform them.
