Damn! He didn't suppose to know about your soul inside her body. His fiancé had heart issues, it's why he agreed to marry her even not having romantic feeling for her. When he shot you, she had a heart attack and didn't survive and your soul was attracted to her body. You're back because it was not your time to die but it was her.

Ok, so in Perm/Super mode he is brooding and invested in hating me. I'm gonna switch to Passion or Tale and see if that helps. But I kinda like breaking the brooding version of him! Totally different ball game. I might make him cry!!
