I almost jumped into it, poly is a good trainer for suspicion. Her excuse was good, but she was unreasonable when I explained how using her real name, real photo, all real info could be found by our employers, co-workers, friend, acquaintances, that gossipy person from high school...and nobody else would understand that she isn't cheating. And somehow I was the bad guy. Her snarky line in the greeting sets her up as indignant and defensive.

In my run she was just filtering out the creeps and weirdos and passing on the maybes to her friend Jessica. Jessica is kind of naive and Vanessa didn't want to subject her to the creeps. I suggested deleting the app and setting her up with my friend KEvin who would be perfect for Jessica. She immediately deleted the app and set up a double date.
