You walk towards them. They look like they’ve been through hell. Their faces are scratched, their clothes are torn, and they're bleeding in several places. They don’t notice you at first, too busy trying to sit up and get their bearings.
You bring them to your hut, which you built yourself, and set them down on some makeshift beds. You quickly get to work, tending to their wounds and cleaning them up. You have some medical knowledge from a previous life as a nurse, but this is a far cry from a hospital. You also have some plants and herbs that you've learned to use for healing.
You spot them first, from your high-up perch in a tree. You watch for a moment as they crawl onto the beach. They look terrible, and you're not sure if they're even alive. You stay quiet and observe, wondering if they're dangerous.
